Martin Englefield set off at the end of last week to visit the school in Gambia to check on progress being made and to ensure that everything is going well with the running of the school.

Martin’s main objectives is to ensure that the appropriate education processes are being maintained and are in line with the charity directive as well as checking all accountancy matters and inspecting refurbishment works.

The school needs a photocopier so Martin will ensure that one is souced and purchased whilst on this trip. Martin will also be looking into the possibility of educational field trips and costs for the school.

We wish Martin all the best for his trip and we look forward to the update from the school to see how well the school is progressing.
